At Irish Arts Center, I managed and programmed numerous community and educational events, and taught workshops for children.

I worked with teaching artists to create original educational programming for many community events, including St. Patrick's Day, Irish Language Day, and more. I managed over thirty workshops and classes for adults and increased class enrollment by 25%. I developed our children's programs and introduced a new class for kids called "Irish Recess," in which children played recess-style games using Irish words and language. I taught at many St. Patrick's Day storytelling events across the city, and welcomed families to Irish Arts Center for Saturday Morning Cartoons, a relaxed event in which families were welcome to wear pajamas and watch the best of Irish animation.

A big highlight of this position was working on IAC's Book Day, an annual event on St. Patrick's Day in which Irish Arts Center gives out free books by Irish authors to New Yorkers. I was in charge of organizing volunteers who distributed nearly 10,000 free books across all five boroughs.
